Auto-immune Support

Gut health coaching with EFT for stress, emotional challenges, whatever is in your way

Breaking the vicious cycle book by Elaine GottschallOf course it is important to deal with emotional root problems and stress using EFT, but still a challenge to be fully well and energised if you are not giving yourself the best chance, nurturing your body with the goodness it needs to thrive.

I am able to function and thrive, in spite of the serious long-term auto-immune condition Crohn's disease, by using a combination of EFT and the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, thus not needing to use the conventional drugs usually prescribed for auto-immune disease with their potentially nasty side effects (although on occasion they are sadly necessary for some - this approach is essentially complementary but has been observed  to be commonly associated with a journey into remission).  I share what has worked and the knowledge that I have gathered along my journey to help myself and my daughter.  I specialise in SCD support based on personal experience. I am a qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Advisor with an in-depth understanding of nutritional needs alongside my extensive experience with EFT. Through EFT facilitation, I can help with any condition where emotional or motivational support is needed to facilitate dietary or lifestyle change.  I also have personal experience of implementing Low FODMAP and where there are issues with Lactose or Fructose intolerance or Candida.

The Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) has much in common with the Auto-Immune Paleo (AIP) diet and preliminary evidence is showing this approach to have value in the management of many auto-immune conditions as well as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS):

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) such as Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
  • Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
  • Hashimotos Thyroiditis
  • Psoriasis
  • Fibromyalgia / CFS/ME

and many others.  Some are even beginning to consider asthma to have auto-immune origins.

SCD has also been found helpful in the management of Autism, Autistic Spectrum Conditions and some mental health problems.

Great.  BUT .... switching to an SCD lifestyle is for many of us a major lifestyle change and takes some doing.  Where do you start?  How do you overcome sugar cravings?  How do you climb this new mountain?  And in most cases, general SCD principles will need tweaking to suit the individual and that happens much more smoothly with knowledge and experience.
This is where I come in as Gut Health Coach and share the experience of SCD/EFT that has kept me symptom-free for the past 6 years.  I offer EFT-based coaching sessions combined with practical hints, tips and guidance.  Together, we take an holistic approach to improving your health.  We enable and empower you to make lasting lifestyle change, at the same time tackling and clearing any underlying emotional issues and causes of stress in your life, any unhelpful or limiting beliefs or patterns you've fallen into.  Others have taken charge of their health like this so why can't you?  You definitely have the potential - some friendly coaching can release it.

We initially have weekly sessions using Zoom VOIP (or in person at my office if you are local to South Molton, North Devon) to get you going.  As you become confident and ready, that extends to fortnightly, monthly, every other month and so on, with email support available between sessions, ensuring that you are supported to maintain lasting change.  Coaching package: 10 hours £499 (payment plan available).

Email me now to arrange your free 20-minute consultation to discuss how this approach could work for you

Please note that I work as a coach and do not diagnose or treat serious medical conditions.  Health coaching is complementary to other medical treatment and you need to continue to work in partnership with your medical practitioner (although as coaching progresses you will hopefully need to consult him/her less frequently).  Please see the important reminder at the bottom of the page.
